Policy analyst with specialization in trade, regional integration, and investments. Beru worked as the trade policy analyst at the East African Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture and also served as the trade development specialist at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has been a trade policy advisor to Lime Group Consulting Africa, focusing on African integration development under the AfCFTA. He consulted on the draft bill of the Kenya trade development (2021-2025), which is reviewed after five years. He also consulted as a researcher with TRALAC (Trade Law Centre) on analyzing and conducting the study of value chain trade in Africa, with an emphasis on gender aspects across several sectors covering 20 countries.
